We are a local family owned, independent tea house based in Lyndhurst in the New Forest.

We serve traditional tea house favourites, inlcuding our generous afternoon cream teas as well as fantastic home cooked breakfasts all day long.

WELCOME TO THE LYNDHURST TEAHOUSE

You can choose a full English breakfast, or a freshly prepared sandwich or baguette, perhaps a warming homemade soup with crusty bread. If it is lunch you require the Beer Battered Fish and Chips or an Steak and Ale Pie could be your choice. Alongside a pot of traditional tea or a freshly brewed cappuccino, or even a glass of wine or lager.
We are famous for afternoon teas, choosing from our large handmade scones, served with clotted cream and jam, to our large selection of cakes, freshly prepared sandwiches or our homemade puddings such as Bakewell Tart or Treacle Tart served with lashings of custard.We also have a good selection of gluten free options, including gluten free cream teas (with home made gluten free scones) and a selection of gluten free cakes, and all of our sandwiches are available toasted with gluten free bread.
We believe in sourcing as many of our products as possible from local suppliers, many of which are also family owned business’s. You will find a warm welcome awaits you at the Lyndhurst Tea House, we pride ourselves on friendly service, great quality food served in a welcoming environment. We set ourselves the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the Tea House.

We look forward to welcoming you and your party to the Lyndhurst Tea House.

We are a small local family owned business run by Hilary and Gary Brand. We genuinely care about every meal and drink we prepare. We would like you to enjoy good quality, great looking, superb tasting dishes, and to return time and time again. We have been running the Tea House for eight years now and are continually trying to improve the experience for all our customers.
We are not currently taking reservations unless you have a voucher you wish to use. At very busy times there may be a wait but it is not normally longer than 10 minutes.
